Example of an AABBA pattern poem:
There once was a cat named Mitch.
He was roaming in the ditch.
He found a penny
It turned into many
They now call him Mitch the Rich!
1. Complete the Limerick planning page in your Poem writing book as a rough draft
2. On the next page, transfer your poem into a final draft (best spelling, printing, and coloring).
2. Use the second Limerick page in your writing book for extra practice, using completely new rhyming words.
